Carnival season starts January 6th and lasts until Mardi Gras Day. King Cake is only allowed during this window. To eat it or cook it outside of the season unleashes the bad gris gris on us. Yes, we’re looking at you ‘people who broke the rule in 2020 and 2021.’ Because you know what you did!
