Think of us as the culinary band, ready to put on an unforgettable show. Let the Langlois team entertain your guests. There will be cooking, laughing, storytelling, games and maybe even ghost stories & dancing. We know how to read a crowd and spice up a meal during this unforgettable 2-hour event.

LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL!
Put us in front of a crowd, and we’ll spend hours spinning stories about life in Louisiana, local culture, cuisine, and history. This event is more than a cooking demonstration, it is a full cooking show. Our chefs are entertainers and will read the crowd. Yes, we always teach guests about all the stages of roux and when to use them, the history of Cajun and Creole cuisine. But sometimes there is dancing, when we can make it happen, crawfish races and if the group is up for it we will even a few ghost stories. No two events are alike though they’re always a hit! Our chefs play “hostess with the mostest” as we interact with your guests talking about all things New Orleans and Louisiana food & life. We will even share our favorite places to eat and things to do in town if you ask. The sky is the limit where our live cooking show can go.

The food prepared during our event is donated to a local charity, so you’re having fun and giving back in the process. We recommend finding a venue that works in your overall budget. Most restaurants in New Orleans offer a $60-$250 inclusive menu and can adjust to your dining budget. This program also allows you to maximize your food and beverage minimum at your conference hotel by hosting a live cooking show over lunch, dinner or a reception.

What's Included:

WHAT’S INCLUDED in the Langlois fee?

During this 2 hr event, guests will learn the art of Cajun roux as we prepare a gumbo, talk about the history of Cajun & Creole cuisine.  Our chef will discuss the techniques, cultures, and ingredients that make this dish special. Guests will have the opportunity to ask our chef anything!  Our team brings all the ingredients and equipment and the dish we create is donated to a local charity since the venue is providing all of the food and beverage. Not only are you having an incredible show, you’re helping to give back to the New Orleans community in the process.
